St. Xavier’s School, Deonia, had organized an educational tour to Kathmandu for Grade 9 as part of experiential learning, cultural exposure, and academic enrichment. The tour was scheduled from December 27 to 30 (Poush 12-15, 2082).
Objectives of the Tour:
* Academic Exposure: libraries, museums, research centers
*Cultural and historical learning: heritage sites and Durbar Squares
*Environmental study visit: Godawari Botanical Garden
*Religious and spiritual understanding: major temples and stupas
*Teamwork, reflection, discipline and self-management
*Preparing a written report for the 2025 School Magazine.

The students had first hand experience of various cultural and historical sites. They had been able to visit the cultural and religious places that they had studied in their course books. It was a learning experience outside the classroom. We believe that this educational tour had left a lasting impression on the young minds, which they would cherish throughout their lives.
