Annual Sports Day Successfully Concluded
The Annual Sports Day of our school was successfully organized on Saturday, 26th Poush, on the school premises. The event was conducted with great enthusiasm and discipline, featuring a variety of sports activities. At the conclusion of the competitions, medals and certificates were awarded to the representative students of the winning houses.
After a series of competitive events, the Yellow House emerged as the overall champion, defeating the Green, Blue, and Red Houses, and proudly secured the trophy for the academic years 2025–2026.
The inter-house competitions included track events such as 50 m, 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, and 800 m races, relay race, as well as March Past, drill, human pyramid formation, tug of war, bamboo race, balance race, sack race, cock fight, and several other recreational games. To encourage community participation, running competitions were also organized for the attending parents.
The program was graced by the presence of former and current members of the School Management Committee as the Guests of Honor. The event was chaired by the school Principal, Father Sanjay Ekka,S.J. The overall planning, coordination, and supervision of the program were efficiently carried out by the Extra-Curricular Activities In-charge, Mr. Sajan Gurung.
Ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants, a team of trained health personnel was on standby throughout the event, with a first-aid stall arranged on the ground. A few participants sustained minor injuries during the races; however, immediate first-aid assistance was promptly provided.
Following the trophy distribution ceremony, the program formally concluded with a joyful victory celebration by the students and teachers of the winning Yellow House. The memorable moments of the entire event were beautifully captured through photography by teacher Mr. Suraksha Rai and Brother Ranjeet Kullu, S.J.
The school extends heartfelt congratulations to all participants and expresses sincere appreciation to the organizers, teachers, students, parents, and Guests of Honor for their valuable support in making the event a grand success.
